HS Design -- Xtensor
Working on the computer all day can reek havoc on your wrists and hands--leading to stressed muscles, tired finger joints, and tendonitis. HS Design, a New Jersey based product development house, has collaborated with Applied Tech Products to design a device that will keep your extensors conditioned and well trained. The Xtensor is a 5oz device that helps with rehabilitation after surgery, or to prevent repetitive stress injuries. The device is made up of a wrist wrap, palm support, and adjustable finger bands. It's like a mini Bowflex for your hand. The bands are a custom-blend of thermoplastic elastomer that gives them an elasticity of 700%--exactly what you need for some good resistance training. The unit's parts are interchangeable and can fit any hand size, no matter age or gender. To get your wrist exercise on, slide your hand and fingers through the wrist strap and finger bands. Once you're strapped in, let the flexing begin.
