1. Why do I have different size finger bands?

   The Xtensor was designed to provide a custom fit to all users. The different size finger bands provide each user the ability to use the finger bands in a combination specific to their hands. The conical shape bands can be used from either side when customizing the Xtensor for your use.

2. I lost or broke some finger bands what do I do?

   Finger bands may break over time or be lost.If you need additional Finger bands please contact our office during normal business hours at 631-881-0820

3. How much is a new set of Finger Bands?

   Clinically Fit will replace finger bands free of charge, there may be a nominal charge for shipping and handling.

4. My physician recommended I purchase an Xtensor which of the two versions is best for me?

   The only difference between the two Xtensors is color.

5. How much and how often should I use The Xtensor?

   As with any exercise program you should always consult your physician before beginning. If you are using the Xtensor for conditioning purposes, follow the instructions in the manual provided or go to the instructions area on the website. If referred by a medical professional then check with your physician or rehab specialist.

6. I bought The Xtensor and notice it feels a bit big what do I do?

   The Xtensor was designed to fit all users; however those with small hands may feel it necessary to attach a second comfort pad. This will likely remedy the issue as it will reduce the overall surface area inside the device. A second comfort pad can be ordered and quickly shipped

7. I wish to return The Xtensor how do I do that?

   We are sorry you are not satisfied with our product, if it is within the 30 days since receiving The Xtensor please call toll free 866 Xtensor (983-6767) and we will assist you in returning it. Please understand you are responsible for shipping charges and your credit card will be credited within 30 days.

8. Why are there two colored bands on The Xtensor?

   The Xtensor is universal to both hands, the color coded bands on the sides are for each of your thumbs. The Thumb band rings are connected to one another. Pulling on the the thumb band ring not in use will allow you to increase the resistance being placed on the working thumb. Start by gently pulling on the thumb band ring not in use until a level of resistance that is comfortable is achieved.

   Many insurance plans cover devices like The Xtensor, check with your carrier as to whether your policy covers this class of device. The HCPCS code for The Xtensor is A9300

10. I have small hands and have purchased an extra comfort pad. Where do i place it.

    The additional comfort will help size the Xtensor to fit smaller hands and provide the necessary cushioning for a soft fit. We recommend placing the additional pad on top of one of the other two. Test it by placing it there before exposing the adhesive to determine which site works best for you.
